Lata Mangeshkar, who was known as the ‘Nightingale of India’, died at 8:12 am at Breach Candy Hospital Mumbai. She had tested positive for Covid-19 on January 8 and was undergoing treatment at the hospital. The Bharat Ratna honored singer was showing improvement until last week but her health deteriorated and could not survive.

She is well known for her warm involvement and interest in cricket and fan of Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, also interest in politics and social issues.
